3. Client Responsibilities

Clients must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when submitting manuscripts or materials. Clients are also responsible for ensuring they hold full rights to the content they provide and that it does not infringe on any copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property rights of others.

4. Ownership and Rights

• Authors retain full copyright and ownership of their work.
• American Publishing Company acts as a service provider, assisting in design, editing, marketing, and publishing support, but does not claim ownership of the manuscript or final book.
• Clients grant American Publishing Company permission to display their book covers, excerpts, and author name in portfolios, marketing materials, or testimonials unless otherwise requested in writing.

5. Payments & Refund Policy

• All service fees are clearly outlined in customized quotes provided to each client.
• Payment is required in advance for most services unless otherwise agreed upon.
• Due to the customized nature of publishing services, refunds are not typically provided once work has commenced. Partial refunds may be considered in special cases if the service was not delivered as agreed.
• Clients are encouraged to review all samples, drafts, and proofs carefully before final approval.

6. Timelines and Delivery

• Project timelines vary based on service packages, manuscript length, and client responsiveness.
• While American Publishing Company strives to meet agreed deadlines, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. Clients will be notified promptly of any changes.
• All final deliverables will be provided in agreed digital formats unless otherwise specified.

7. Revisions Policy

• Most service packages include a specified number of revisions. Additional revisions beyond the included amount may incur additional fees.
• Revision requests must be submitted within a reasonable timeframe (usually within 14 days of draft delivery).

8. Marketing and Results Disclaimer

While American Publishing Company offers marketing and promotional support, we do not guarantee specific sales numbers, bestseller status, or media placements. Results vary based on market trends, book genre, audience demand, and external factors beyond our control.

9. Confidentiality

10. Termination of Services
